Preventative Maintenance Program

KBHS, Inc., in association with its affiliates, offers a Preventative Maintenance Program, or PMP. This program is based on the concept that it is less costly to maintain existing equipment and facilities in top form than it is to incur and pay for unexpected breakdowns and equipment overhauls.

First, we determine the present state of your equipment and facilities. Second, we catalog the information. Third, we schedule a series of preventative maintenance tasks to bring them to peak operating condition and keep them there. Using proven maintenance task management software, tailored to your facilities' needs, we are able to generate automatic work orders, purchase orders and keep equipment inventory current based on the schedule.

An essential ingredient of the PMP is development of a tailor-made manual, which closely relates to your scheduled maintenance. This single source reference provides a complete description of each plant of pump station and has proven itself time and time again, in demonstrating to your oversight board or commission the condition of your equipment and the need to repair or replace it. This reference is also an essential aid at budget time. Many of our customers have found that the reference's thorough documentation in support of their funding requests is often the deciding factor in gaining approval.
